Share Accounts (Savings)

At FFCU we know how important your money is to you. That's why your deposits are federally insured by the NCUA (National Credit Union Administration) for up to $100,000. Be confident that your money is safe and that you're earning competitive rates. The following are the different types of Share Accounts we offer:

Share Savings -- Just a $25 deposit into this account makes you a member and eligible for all the credit union's products, services and benefits!
Club Accounts -- Need a little help putting money away for the holiday season? Who doesn't? With FFCU's Christmas Club, you can have a set amount taken every pay period and deposited directly into this savings account. Then we'll transfer all that you've saved into your Share Savings account on November 1st!
Vacation Club -- Another wonderful budgeting tool to help you save for your next family trip or your dream vacation to Europe. We'll even give you FREE American Express® Traveler's Cheques (excludes Traveler's Cheques for Two) when you're ready to withdraw the funds!

VISA® Debit Card

FFCU's VISA Debit card offers flexibility and immediate access to your Share Draft account funds. Use your card as often as you like at your favorite merchants, and the money comes directly from your Share Draft account. Or you can access your funds through any ATM. Our debit cards also offer increased security precautions, so you can feel confident that your money is safe. You can even change your PIN to something easier for you to remember by bringing your card into the Skokie office!

Safeguard your money while traveling. American Express guarantees to replace any lost or stolen Travelers Cheques. We offer regular Traveler's Cheques, as well as Cheques for Two.

American Express® Gift Cheques

Give the perfect gift every time. Classy-looking Gift Cheques make great wedding, graduation or birthday presents. They're redeemable anywhere Traveler's Cheques are accepted and are replaceable if lost or stolen. Available in denominations of $25, $50 or $100.

Express Service Phone (ESP)
