A Windy 2012 Spring for FFCU

First Financial CU once again has a presence in Chicago. This page is dedicated to tracking the progress and events associated with our new main branch, located at 2942 W. Peterson Ave – just two blocks east of Lincoln Ave.

Opening Day at the Peterson Branch

The floors are polished, the equipment is installed and the MSRs are ready to serve! Our Main Branch officially opened its doors for business at 8am on Monday, May 21st. The branch is not only open, it’s open to a large portion of the Chicago-area community. Stop by and see it for yourself!

FAQ about our New Branch

Q. How do I get to the branch?
A. Great question! You can find directions here. And remember, Richmond is one way – making it a fantastic street to exit FFCU on – but turn into our parking lot from Peterson when you’re entering. See you soon!

Q. What’s going on with the metal detector?
A. Yes, we have a metal detector. Because of our open lobby concept without the traditional teller counters, we are required to add an extra layer of security. It’s just keeping everyone safe, and we promise, you’ll barely notice it once you’re inside and enjoying the new branch!

Q. Will your Skokie branch still be open?
A. Absolutely!  Skokie will always be a home to First Financial Credit Union and many of its members. However, our hours at the Skokie branch have changed slightly, so don’t forget to take a look at the new hours before making a trip.

Grand Opening Celebration

We are extremely happy and grateful to have a large base of loyal members we regularly serve, the Chicago-area communities we open our doors to, and a number of supporting vendors and companies that we work with. To celebrate our New Branch and all of the people who made it possible, we are hosting our Grand Opening Celebration on Thursday, June 7th from 4pm – 7pm.  Please join us for a night of cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and raffle prizes to celebrate this new chapter for First Financial Credit Union.
